Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Endless Glow Liquid Highlighter

     Makeup trends come and go and there's one that I want to stay- highlighters! It's one of the secrets to look glowing on photos sans the sleepless nights. I've started using highlighters a couple of years ago and it's one of my makeup essentials that give the lit from within look. I always get a compliment whenever I have highlighter on my cheeks that's why I'm excited to try different types and finishes available in the market today.

     I've tried two types of highlighter to date- powder and liquid. Both are easy to use and gives the right illuminating effect for that blooming and fresh look. How To Clean Your Makeup Brushes?

     One of the most important tools in makeup arsenals are brushes. There’s a brush for everything for concealing, contouring, applying foundation, buffing, blending, and priming. And every brush picks up the product over time. And after a period of use, you should consider cleaning them. And not just dusting them off, but actually cleaning them. 

     Why? Because you want to prevent acne. You can learn more about it here. But every time you use brushes they tend to contain bacteria if they were open and from your product as well. This leads to clogged pores, infections, and acne. If brushes still have older makeup on them, they won’t help you apply the right color you’re aiming for. Let’s say you did a black smokey eye and used the same brush the very next day to a nude eye palette. You won’t achieve that look because your brush still contains product from the last application.

Product Review: MAC Coral Bliss Lipstick

     I've been lemming for a pretty pink with peach or coral shade lipstick for years now and finally found one in MAC's Cremesheen formula- Coral Bliss. A pretty pink and peach lipstick shade that is perfect for summer and for lazy days when I don't want to wear makeup. The pink and peach tones in this lipstick give a pretty pop of color on my lips whenever I want to brighten up my day. 

     I bought this in an instant because I forgot to bring my lipstick the day I'm on my way to an event. My plan is to buy MAC Angel first before this but after seeing how pretty this baby after the SA (sales lady) handed me the bullet at MAC Sm Aura, I got totally sold.      One of the reasons why I started this blog is because of my love for organic skincare and one of the first organic brands that saved my skin from nasty breakouts was Natura Organics.  I was a problematic first-time mommy some 9 years ago because of my adult acne.      For us girls, the expressions 'kilay is life' and 'brows on fleek' have a big impact on our daily lives. Achieving both may mean the world to us. Product Review: MAC Kinda Sexy Lipstick

     I'm slowly building my MAC lipstick arsenal. My first shade was Girl About Town which was a 'pasalubong' pa from my cousin years ago. During that time, I was so obsessed with MAC lipstick to the point that I want to hoard or buy all the shades once there's a new collection. I know it's crazy but a girl can never have too many lipsticks, right?!

     But then I realized that I only need to splurge on the shades that I really want and will suit my skin tone. After all, a lipstick, in general, has a shelf-life of two years after the first swipe and if I will hoard that much, some or all will just be sitting in my drawer waiting to be tossed. I already have a red, pink, and purple shade of MAC lipstick and this time I want a neutral one that I can use every day. Guess what, I've found the perfect neutral shade that I can sport with or without makeup- MAC Kinda Sexy!

     Hi dearies! Hope everyone's having a great week so far. I miss writing this kind of blog post. When I was starting, I write a haul post weekly because I want to share what I bought from my weekend shopping.      There's one thing that Filipinos love to do during free time or the wee hours of the night- online shopping!!!      Fashion 21 Matte Permanent Lipstick has a velvety texture. It glides smoothly on my lips upon application. It is very pigmented and goes opaque on my lips after two swipes. I like that it's crayon-type because it makes application of lipstick on the outer corner of my lips easy.
