Have you read this POST? If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that there is one snoe soap that I really love. I'm sure you've seen that soap on my haul posts, I even gave it a perfect 5/5 score and been using it for almost three years! But that soap was already discontinued in the market and when I heard that news months ago I felt very very sad. That variant from snoe became my skin's very best friend. I'm in love with that soap. No matter how many new and exciting brands that keeps on sprouting like mushrooms in supermarkets, department stores and online shops, I still come back to Snoe's Black Bleaching Beauty Bar.
I thought I'm going to look for another brand that will give the same results like Snoe's Black Bleaching Beauty Bar and to my surprise, they reformulated it. They made it even better or should I say the best bleaching soap in the market today! I will just make my introduction short dearies. Click continue reading and find out why Snoe's Snoe White soaps will always be the first place in my heart ^_^

Snoe White SPECIAL Black Beauty Bar The not-your-ordinary-box packaging |
Snoe White SPECIAL Black Beauty Bar The cute snowflake engraving is still there :) |
size: 150g/ 5.2 oz
price: 199 php (Around $4.50+)
place bought: Landmark, Trinoma
instruction for use: wet skin, lather beauty bar and apply thoroughly. leave on skin for 2 minutes. expect a slight tingling or prickly sensation. rinse thoroughly. for best results use Snoe Beauty Sun Protection after bathing.
ingredients: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Sodium Hydroxide (and) Water, Glycerin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Alpha-Arbutin, Lactic Acid and (Water), Citric Acid, Glycolic Acid, Tocopherol, Lycopersicum Esculentum (Tomato) Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai Berry) Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Cl 50420
What I like:
- Most of the ingredients are organic.
- IMO, reasonably priced since this is bleaching soap with alpha arbutin content and most soaps with this kind of ingredient are way expensive than other whitening agents.
- Classy and sophisticated packaging. The cuteness and fanciness is still there though :)
- The scent- there's a hint of sweetness that's not overpowering.
- It's loaded with skin beautifying and detoxifying ingredients.
- It doesn't dry my skin.
- Exfoliates very well.
- Doesn't melt fast.
- I feel a stinging sensation and tightening of my pores every time I use the soap.
- There's a lightening on my blemishes, particularly on dried zits.
- My skin looks luminous when I look in the mirror.
- I experienced micro peeling on sides of my nose.
- Easily accessible.
- Affordable.
- Yay! Manufacturing and expiry dates are already stamped on the packaging ^_^
What I don't like:
- None!
Will I repurchase? Yes! I'm on my second bar now.
Recommendation:
I give this soap a 5/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Follow this recommendation "Shift to another Snoe White Beauty Bar variant after three months of continuous use to let the skin rest. You may resume usage of our special black bleaching beauty bar one month after" so that your skin will have resting period and consult a dermatologist first because this may not be suited for sensitive skin. Always use sunblock with spf 30 or higher to protect your skin from the sun. Organic soap does not contain any soap hardener and our hot humid weather will make the soap melt faster. I always cut the soap in half. I highly recommend this soap, my skin loves it! I would like to thank Snoe and Ms. Jen for making this soap really effective and special!!!
What SNOE variant have you tried? I heard Awesome Poresome is very nice! Hope to hear from you ^_^
Too expensive for a bar of soap! Haha! But I super love Snoe's packaging :)
ReplyDeleteAngel
@Angel Diamante- dear, I want to agree with you that it's expensive for cheapskates like me but with the results I can say that it's reasonably priced naman kasi it lasted din for more than a month sakin unlike other organic soaps that I've tried minsan 2 or 3 weeks lang tinatagal.
ReplyDeleteThe packaging is different from the other Snoe soaps. But they are really effective I've tried two of them. Now I am too far from Snoe na :(
ReplyDeleteI love snoe's soaps! very effective at hindi mabilis magmelt... was gonna try the calamasi variant kaso naging awesome poresome na siya tapos kapos ako ng dalang pera hahaha... :) great detailed review sis :)

First time to see a black soap. I wonder how it is when you use it hehe! Parang nakakatakot!
ReplyDeleteI would go even go for a highly expensive one if it's worth the price. I remember using Mary Kay's soap that costs me a thousand.
Good find you have there!
expensive fora soap but if gives the benefits, why not? :) havent tried any snoe product pa and im really curious to try.
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried this yet, but I did like Snoe's Oatmeal Bar! Pag bibili ako ng Snoe soap, magcoconsult muna ako sayo, Kat! Haha
ReplyDeletelooks really nice , i haven't tried their products but have heard so much good reviews about it. i hope i can get a chance to buy one
ReplyDeletei haven't tried this! but the packing really looks nice!
ReplyDelete@Sam Lanuza- Yup, it's different na. I know they've phased out na yung old formula and packaging ng soaps nila. Yup, effective talaga Snoe sa skin ko. Ganun, I hope magkaron ng malapit na branch sayo :)
ReplyDelete@Nicole- Yay! I'm happy you like it din. Better try the awesome poresome na. Di ko pa din na try e. Pero yung calamansi before, yun ang first love ko na snoe soap :)
@Mitchteryosa- You use it like any regualar soap. Since black soaps are usually bleaching soaps, expect more pricking sensation and should always use with caution. Dapat lagi naka sunblock.
@rovidear- that's same as my principle din sa soap. kahit medyo expensive kung effective why not!
@Aya- maganda din daw yung oatmeal soap nila great for sensitive skin not sure though kung na phase out na. Sure thing!
@melandria romero- Snoe's Snoe white soaps are whitening soaps that's worth the hype sis. I hope you can try one variant one of these days :)
@Zwitsal Mae Yuson- try it dear :) Yup, packaging looks very nice compared to other brands
I love Snoe too! this brand is one of the first brands I ever reviewed on my blog. I love their soaps. But they are 139.00 that time. I think this one is more expensive than the others since it's reformulated. The new packaging looks classy. I think I'll try this one too :)
ReplyDeleteAs always.. ang ganda ng packaging ni Snoe!! :D and this I must try!!! looks really effective :)
ReplyDeleteAm I the only person who hasn't tried anything from Snoe? Haha!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should really do some Snoe shopping soon. :)
@Genzel Kisses- same here. love ko din ang Snoe. eversince lumabas sa market yung soaps nila talagang tinry ko and nagustuhan ko naman. I think this is expensive kasi may nadagdag na whitening ingredients and for me it's fair enough naman :)Try this!!!
ReplyDelete@Rhea- Indeed :) Try this ha
@Czjai Reyes- Ocampo- Go shopping na sis :) You'll love Snoe
Oooooh! This is one of the best soaps Snoe has! It truly works too! Nice post! ♥
ReplyDeleteHUGS!
The Makeup Maven
@Sabs- Whoa! Thank you so much for dropping by Ms. Sabs <3 Kinikilig ako ^_^. Yup, this one really works. Been using the old formulation for 2 years and this one naka 2 bars na ko :)
ReplyDeleteHi po, magtatanong sana ako for some lotions with high spf. and yung effective talaga, kasi yung mga ginagamit di mo masyado makikitaan ng results e, so i wanna ask you miss kath to give me some recommendations. And, uhhh. May snoe ba sa watsons? Tanong ko lang. Thankyou.
ReplyDelete@Abhigail- I highly recommend Nivea! The whitening serum with spf 30 is very effective. Other than that, yung mga may spf 50 pataas is beach hut or vmv armada.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any of Snoe's products but I'm reading a lot of good reviews about this brand. Maybe I'll try one soon.
ReplyDelete@Style and Glow- yup, they have good range of organic products and most are effective! you should try one now!
ReplyDeleteWhere can I buy this Ms. Kath? :)
ReplyDelete@Katrina Pader- Landmark Trinoma, Cinderella Sm fairview and Robinson's Galleria. Please refer to their facebook page for the list of stores :)
ReplyDeletehi gud pm kath im interested about s snoe product lalo n s black bar im curious ln po n try nio n po b gamitin un product ng snoe? no offense po ha kase parang mukha lang maputi sau bk make up ln yn
ReplyDeleteHello, what photo are you referring? If yung photo sa profile ko yung tinatanong mo, I have makeup there and the studio lighting affects my skin tone and may theme kasi yan. If you want to see my my skintone, read my recent post, I have an OOTD there yung Fairview Terraces style origin. I'm fair enough na to begin with, the snoe black bar just helped me whiten pimple marks and made my skin glowing.
DeleteHi! Does this product have a purging stage? Ive been using this soap for about 3 weeks now. And nagkabutlig and pimples ako sa face. Im thinking kung itutuloy ko pa ba for three months or ididiscontinue ko na. I even bought their sunblock for this. Kaso nagwoworry ako kasi imbis na mabawasan, lalo pa ata kong nagkapimple. :(
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteFor some, meron purging stage pero dapat 2-3 weeks lang. If matagal na, it means di ka hiyang so you have to stop na using this.
Where can I buy this Ms. Kath? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Mike,
DeleteThere are several stores selling Snoe like sa Landmark Trinoma, Landmark Makati, sa mga SM Malls beauty section and online.
