Exfoliation is an important part of skin care for both the face and body. Face and body scrubs have been part of my skin care regimen ever since and I always make sure that I scrub them once or twice a week. Exfoliation helps in removing dead skin cells and make our creams, lotions, serums and other skin care products more effective because it will be absorbed more. I presume that many of us have tried St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I used it before but I find the scrub a bit harsh for my skin. If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that my HG facial mask as of the moment is Purederm Dual-Well Being Pack. It's not a scrub but a peeling gel that comes with a face mask.
Since most of the skin care products that I use now contains natural ingredients, methinks it's time to look for a natural facial scrub that works! Good thing my sister won in a giveaway where she got a loot of Human Heart Nature skin products. She gave me this facial scrub weeks ago. So after two weeks of using this scrub (twice a week) here's my honest to goodness review. This product is a keeper and an addition to my growing organic skin care products as well.

What I like:
- It's organic!
- A little amount of product goes a long way.
- Affordable.
- Comes in a convenient tube that's easy to use.
- The strawberry scent is addicting.
- Gentle yet effective in removing blackheads.
- Doesn't dry out my skin.
- My skin feels smooth and supple after use.
- No irritation, breakouts or whatsoever.
- No parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES or other toxic substances.
- Manufacturing, batch and expiry date printed on the packaging.
What I don't like:
- Not readily available, I hope Human Heart Nature will bring it to leading department stores and groceries nationwide.
Will I repurchase? Yes, this product is back-up worthy.
Recommendation:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. As much as I wanted to give this product a perfect rating, methinks will just reserve it since this is my first organic facial scrub. I will not rave too much about it because I also want to give other organic face scrubs in the market a try. BUT this facial scrub performs well and stays true to it's promise! I also love that my face feels squeaky clean without the drying and tight feeling after using this scrub.

@Anonymous- Wala din ako makita sa Robinson's Novaliches and the dealer near my place sells limited products lang. The nearest one is the Human Heart Nature store talaga but malayo pa din sa place ko :(

ReplyDeleteHi guys. Sa mga malapit sa Cubao Area, meron pong stand ng Human Nature sa Shopwise Cubao. :)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous- thanks for the information :)
ReplyDeleteI tried two Human <3 Nature products (the Balancing Facial Wash and the Balancing Face Toner - Elemi and Orange). During the first two weeks of regular use (morning and night time), I felt that my skin felt more smooth and velvety. Then after some time, I developed tiny bumps on my forehead (they are not pimples though) so I stopped using both products. That's why I'm a bit skeptic to use another product again. But I love the concept of Human <3 Nature - all natural!
